AUTOBAHN
The second Autobahn series is comprised of 41 paintings proposing new versions of sketchbook drawings during my travels on Portuguese highways. The paintings capture que speed of the original drawings with the add-on of color with is chosen for each drawing as a way to reinforce its dynamics. Its abstract character is a pronounced feature on my approach to representation and it was being more dramatic in my work at this moment in time.
